Below are answers to common questions asked by parents of Littleton Elementary STEM Academy students. For more detailed answers, check out the Student Handbook located in the Quick Links section on the Home page. Feel free to contact us if there is anything we’ve left out.
Is there a dress code at Littleton Elementary STEM Academy?
In order to ensure that all students are treated fairly and with respect, we require uniforms for all students that consist of:
- Solid dark green/ash gray/burgundy/navy blue shirt with lay-down collar (polos, blouses, button-up dress shirt)
- Sweaters and sweatshirts should be the same as uniform top/shirt colors plus white or black. Only solid colors/no logos, no wearing of hoods inside.
- Solid navy/khaki shorts or slacks; no blue jeans, sweatpants, or stretchy materials (Girls may also wear skirts or jumpers.)
- No labels, tags, or logos may be showing
- No hats in the building
- Closed-toed shoes
Are there safety guidelines for students who are dropped off/picked up?
Yes! For safety purposes, please remember that the designated student drop-off and pick-up is in our parking lot. The management across the street of our school has requested that parents avoid using the Fiesta parking lot for drop-off or pick-up (Subway, Bank of America). We appreciate you following this guideline. If you have any additional questions, contact the front office.

What should I do if my child must miss a day of school?
In order to keep up with classroom curriculum, we insist that children only miss a day of school when it is absolutely necessary. When your child is ill or must otherwise be absent, you should immediately notify the school. Our campus has an attendance line that you should call if your child must miss a day of school. For safety purposes, we do not allow students to attend after-school activities unless they have attended at least half of the day of school.

What are the daily meal prices?
Littleton Elementary STEM Academy offers school lunch to our students for a daily price of $2.50. A reduced plan is available for just $.40 for approved students. We offer a nutritious breakfast daily for all students, free of charge.
What if my child becomes ill at school?
Littleton Elementary STEM Academy has a health office with a nurse or trained/supervised health aide. If your child becomes ill during the day at school, he/she should visit the health office. We do not allow children to leave the school campus without permission. The health office staff will notify you if your child becomes ill at school so that parents or another authorized adult can pick them up as soon as possible.
What should I have prepared to enroll my child as a new student?
- Current immunization record
- Birth certificate
- Proof of residency
- Withdrawal slip and last report card from last school (if applicable)
- Notarized proof of guardianship if applicable
- Emergency medical referral sheet
What is the school guideline on bullying?
Bullying is the repeated acts over time that involve a real or perceived imbalance of power with the more powerful child or group attacking those who are less powerful. Bullying can be physical in form (pushing, hitting, kicking, spitting, stealing), verbal (making threats, taunting, teasing, name-calling), or psychological (social exclusion, spreading rumors, manipulating social relationships). Infractions are considered more serious when related to race, religion, or sexual orientation.
