Please help us keep our children and staff safe during drop off and pick up times. Please stay in the drive up lane and your children will be waiting for you. It’s extremely helpful if you teach them which car to look for. Please avoid parking and walking as it causes a safety concern. We will not allow students to be picked up in the parking lot. Please communicate with your child’s classroom teacher on the first day whether they are a walker, bus rider, or parent pick up. The first few days will take longer until we can get everyone into the right routine. Be patient!
We want to create wonderful memories for your children while at Littleton. We can only do this with your support. Please become an active member of our Parent Teacher Association (PTA). Look for sign-up sheets in your child’s classroom at Meet Your Teacher Night.
The Littleton Elementary School District offers signature field trips for our students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. There will be parent information meetings throughout the year, including scholarship opportunities, and we want you to know early so you can secure your spot. Parent contribution varies by trip. If you would like to make a monetary donation to help provide scholarships for students, please contact the Littleton Education Foundation via email. Take a look at these trips of a lifetime. For more information, contact your school principal.
We have an optional student supply list. This list represents optional, supplementary items, which you may supply at your discretion. Arizona law requires that public schools provide the supplies required for academic success. Littleton Elementary School District will provide all materials required for a student's education. Teachers may recommend additional student supplies during the year as supplemental supports for your child's classroom or meet the needs of the school's focus. If you have any questions, please contact your child's school.
Families in the Littleton School District now have another much-needed option when it comes to help in the morning. Just in time for the start of the 2019–2020 school year, the Boys & Girls Club will be offering a before school program. Parents can drop off students at the Club as early as 6:00 a.m., and the Club will transport students to their Littleton School. For more information, please read the before school program letter.
Each school in the district has an emergency response plan that's reviewed annually by the school emergency response team. These plans include protocols for potential hazards that could occur at a school. Students and staff practice evacuation, lockdown, and lock out drills regularly. We encourage you to read our letter to learn more about important safety information. This information will also be available on our district's Operational Services page.
